About this winery

In 2006, when they acquired Château Romanin, Anne-Marie and Jean-Louis Charmolüe were driven by an energy as strong as the one that runs through the site's undoubted potential. They aspired to take up a double challenge: to write a new chapter in the history of the estate and to produce exceptional wines. Product notes

A warm yet refined red that beautifully reflects the Baux terroir, ready to enjoy now or to evolve over the next few years.

Production notes

La Chapelle is sourced from young vines of Syrah, Mourvèdre and Cabernet Sauvignon grown biodynamically in the stony soils of the Alpilles. It is vinified without oak, in stainless steel, and crafted with extended maceration to preserve freshness and accentuate texture.

Tasting notes

Its brilliant ruby robe leads to aromas of blackcurrant, raspberry and Provencal spice. The palate is generous and inviting, the tannins refined and silky, and the finish resonates with hints of dark chocolate, tobacco and a fine mineral touch.
