About this winery
Founded in 1849 by Albert Brenot in Savigny-lès-Beaune, Doudet-Naudin is one of the oldest Burgundy wine Maisons. In 1933 it was acquired by the Doudet family, who have developed and expanded the Maison while preserving its fundamental values: respect for traditions and excellence. Christophe Rochet, the current head of Doudet-Naudin, is committed to maintaining the values of this well-respected Maison while restructuring it.

Tasting notes
Beautiful, brilliant carmine-red color. Expressive aromas of red fruits (pomegranate, strawberry), rose petals and hints of garigue (thyme, laurel). The palate is full-bodied and pleasant, with hints of wild strawberry. The finish is slightly licorice-like, very clean and structured. Doudet Naudin, a producer of fine wines since 1849, has revealed the noble traits of this great Burgundy grape variety on a Languedoc terroir.
