Product notes

Friendly in its youth yet built for aging, this Haut‑Médoc captivates with its natural harmony and nuanced presence. It pairs beautifully with grilled meats, lamb, or a hearty vegetarian dish like grilled vegetables. A well-rounded, approachable and characterful wine perfect for everyday enjoyment

Production notes

The Haut de Poujeaux is an elegant Haut‑Médoc crafted from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grown on the famed gravel soils of Moulis. The grapes are hand-sorted and vinified gently to preserve aromatic depth. The wine is aged partially in oak barrels, some renewed annually, adding structure and subtle oak nuance without overpowering the fruit purity

Tasting notes

It pours a deep, expressive red. The nose reveals ripe black fruit—blackcurrant, dark cherry—with soft oak and mild spice undertones. On the palate, it is richly textured yet smooth, with well-integrated tannins that support without stiffness. The finish is long, crisp and balanced, echoing both fruit and oak notes
