Product notes

An elegant and approachable Saint-Estèphe, enjoyable young or with a few years of cellaring. Pairs well with grilled red meats, roast lamb, or spiced dishes. Serve at 16–18 °C. Cellaring potential: 5 to 10 years

Production notes

Frank Phélan is the second wine of Château Phélan Ségur. It is made primarily from Merlot, blended with Cabernet Sauvignon. The vines grow on clay-gravel soils typical of the Saint-Estèphe terroir. Grapes are hand-harvested and vinified using traditional methods. The wine is aged for about 14 months in French oak barrels, with a portion being new

Tasting notes

Deep ruby color with garnet highlights. The nose reveals black fruit aromas such as blackcurrant and blackberry, with hints of violet, soft spices, and mocha. On the palate, the wine is silky and well-balanced, with smooth tannins and a long, refined finish
