Production notes

THE VINE Steep slopes with more than 45% gradient Shallow granite soils Cultivation in traditional goblet style – old vines over 75 years HARVEST Hand-picked in small 13 kg crates. VINIFICATION 50% whole clusters and 50% destemmed Semi-carbonic maceration for a few days and fermentation in 45 hL truncated wooden vats AGING 12 months in French oak barrels, 5-6 times used

Tasting notes

TASTING NOTES Color: Intense garnet with pretty purplish reflections. Nose: Complex and mature nose, with notes of dark fruits. Palate: Intense and structured with a lot of depth and silky, balanced tannins. FOOD & WINE PAIRINGS Roasted duck breast with fresh fig, Asian cuisine, beautiful Bresse poultry with morel sauce, tournedos with green pepper. A selection of aged cheeses, followed by a well-caramelized Tarte Tatin. SERVING TEMPERATURE Enjoy this vintage at 14°C. AGING POTENTIAL 5 to 10 years depending on storage conditions.
