About this winery
In 2006, when they acquired Château Romanin, Anne-Marie and Jean-Louis Charmolüe were driven by an energy as strong as the one that runs through the site's undoubted potential. Product notes
This cuvée will go well with a red mullet tartare with saffron sauce, accompanied by fresh tagliatelle.
Production notes
Harvested by hand and then cooled in a cold room (approx. 10°C) for 24 hours. Manual sorting of bunches. Long pressing of whole bunches. Natural settling at 10°C and alcoholic fermentation between 18 and 20°C in stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation blocked. Aged on lees for 8 months in stainless steel tanks with stirring of the lees.
Tasting notes
The color is pale yellow gold with a beautiful brilliance. The nose is delicate, with notes of white flowers and spices. spicy notes. The palate is supple and elegant, revealing a long finish stone fruits such as peach and apricot. The finish is mineral and saline.
