About this winery
Founded in 1849 by Albert Brenot in Savigny-lès-Beaune, Doudet-Naudin is one of the oldest Burgundy wine Maisons. In 1933 it was acquired by the Doudet family, who have developed and expanded the Maison while preserving its fundamental values: respect for traditions and excellence. Christophe Rochet, the current head of Doudet-Naudin, is committed to maintaining the values of this well-respected Maison while restructuring it.

Product notes
Manual harvesting + sorting. Temperature control. Total destemming. Fermentation in open vats for 20 days before pressing. Daily manual punching down. Aged in 100% barrels (20% new barrels and 1 and 2 years old barrels for 13 months). Nose: aromas of very ripe black fruits and wild nuances. Elegant texture, complex aromas. Persistence in the mouth worthy of the greatest wines.

Daily manual punching of the cap. Aged in 100% barrels, 20% of which are new and the rest in 1 and 2 year old barrels for 13 months.
Tasting notes
Purple color with brown reflections. The concentrated nose exhales aromas of very ripe black fruits with some wild nuances. It has an elegant texture and complex aromas. It is a noble and seductive terroir wine, characterized by a persistence in the mouth worthy of the greatest wines.
