Product notes
With an alcohol content of 14 % and a residual sugar level of 2.2 g/L, this wine is dry and easy to drink. It pairs well with dishes such as Sicilian caponata, sausage pasta, or penne with arugula.
Production notes
This red wine is made from Barbera grapes grown in the historic Braja vineyard in Terruggia, Monferrato. Fermentation occurs in oak vats with a 14-day maceration on the skins, followed by malolactic fermentation in stainless steel. The wine is aged for 6 months in stainless steel tanks to preserve the freshness of the fruit.
Tasting notes
It has a ruby red color with violet reflections. The nose is intense, with aromas of marasca cherry and violet, typical of the grape variety. On the palate, it is fresh, with good acidity providing balanced structure and a pleasant finish.
