This wine celebrates the 43rd parallel through Montalcino with an equal blend of Sangiovese and Merlot plus Petit Verdot grown on jasper, sandy and clay‑shale soils at about 240‑380 m hand‑picked in September fermentation and maceration last at least eighteen days under controlled temperature followed by four months in oak barrels and further bottle ageing
