About this winery

Those who know Jeff Carrel's wines know that it tastes, and that's the main thing. We work mainly in Languedoc Roussillon but also in Bordeaux, Beaujolais and Burgundy. We produce a range of wines that are all original, with a unique label and affordable price: simple but not simplistic wines. Wines with their own universe and their own history. Product notes

Hand picked and the two grape varieties are vinified separately. Destemmed, crushed and blended with a small proportion of whole grapes. Then the grapes macerate with the juice until fermentation. The grapes are then decanted and pressed. The press juices and the run-offs are then blended. The nose expresses notes of stewed black fruits and cocoa. In mouth, the wine is round, generous, quite dry + black fruits and spices.

Production notes

The grapes are harvested by hand and the two varieties are vinified separately. They are destemmed to bring out the fruit and crushed and finally blended with a small proportion of whole grapes. The grapes are then macerated with the juice until fermentation. The grapes are then decanted and pressed. The press juices and the run-offs are then blended. The final blends, after maturing in vats, will be as always on Jeff Carrel's decision.

Tasting notes

The robe is dark, purplish. The nose expresses notes of stewed black fruits and cocoa. In the mouth, the wine is round, generous with a rather dry side and black fruits and spices.
