About this winery

A family estate with character: two passionate women, mother & daughter, are at the head of this estate. The domain works in a tradition and a family continuity. Authenticity & passion: the purity of the terroirs and the wines, the minerality and the sharing through tasting are key points. Expertise & elegance: the excellence of the terroirs and the finesse of our muscadets have always been the key words.

Product notes

This Muscadet de Sèvre et Maine sur lie is sought after for its youthful, lively, dry and fruity side where a persistent lemony note stands out. The latter is conferred by the nature of the soil, but also the obvious minerality which appears from the attack to the end of the mouth.

Production notes

This property, located in the commune of Gorges in the heart of the Nantes vineyard, is one of the oldest properties in the Muscadet vineyard. In the past, it totaled 300 hectares which were divided up following the Vendée wars. This property extends over a 17-hectare hill with a windmill typical of the Nantes region at its highest point. The wine is vinified on lees. The lees are the result of a natural sedimentation of the solid elements of the wine during the winter. After the alcoholic fermentation, the wine rests on its lees all winter until the bottling at the end ofend of March. It is never racked, which allows the conservation of a small quantity of carbon dioxide that gives a light "pearliness" so sought after by wine lovers.
