About this winery
Since 1885, 6 generations have shaped the history of the BOUGRIER FAMILY. It all began in 1885, when Achille GUENAULT-COUSIN discovered the Hauts Lieux plateau in Touraine in the commune of Saint Georges sur Cher. Fascinated by this terroir and the potential of its wines, he never left to create the GUENAULT estate. Since 1988, Noël BOUGRIER has been at the head of this house.

Production notes
More or less fine settling in order to preserve the interesting constituents of the grape. Realization of pellicular macerations from 12 to 24 hours or cold macerations on lees in order to extract from the grape the aromas which make the charm of the sauvignon. Vinification at low temperature (15-18°C) in order to reveal the Sauvignon's aromas at best. Ageing on fine lees or total lees with some stirring.
Tasting notes
On the nose, this wine releases notes of exotic fruits, reinforced by a note of fresh grass and a touch of minerality. On the palate it is round, fruity, with mineral and acidulous notes on the finish with a very nice length and richness.
