Product notes
With an alcohol content of 13.5%, this wine is an excellent representation of Ploussard du Jura. It's ideal for pairing with dishes such as roasted poultry, cured cheeses, and cured meats. It's best served young to appreciate its freshness, although it can also develop favorably with a few years of aging.
Production notes
Made with 100% Ploussard grapes from old vineyards in Pupillin. Vinification is carried out with native yeasts and without the addition of sulfites during maceration. Fermentation takes place in whole bunches, and the wine is aged in used oak barrels for several months. Production is limited, ensuring an authentic expression of the terroir.
Tasting notes
This wine has a deep ruby red color. On the nose, it offers complex aromas of ripe red fruits, subtle spices, and a mineral touch characteristic of the Jura terroir. On the palate, it is elegant and balanced, with fine tannins and a lingering finish.
