About this winery
In 1992, our legacy became rooted in pioneering Bordeaux blends in Washington State. Since then, we have been perfecting artisanal Bordeaux and Rhone-inspired wines that showcase the purity of fruit that defines Washington State terroir, creating “Grand Cru” wines from some of the oldest vines in the state.

Product notes
This is a standout Cabernet that masterfully balances concentrated power with elegance and terroir expression, offering both immediate pleasure after decanting and long-term aging potential of 15–20 years
Production notes
This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from the estate’s Grand Ciel Vineyard in Washington’s Red Mountain AVA. Crafted from a single-clone (191) parcel, the grapes undergo a 24–36 hour cold soak followed by 14–16 days of skin fermentation. The wine then ages 20 months in new French oak barrels and rests for 18 months in bottle, showcasing meticulous terroir-driven winemaking
Tasting notes
It presents a deep garnet color and a complex nose of cassis, wild blackberry, Bing cherry, clove spice, tobacco leaf, floral lilac, and subtle smoky minerality. On the palate it’s richly textured, with fine-grained, chalky tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long finish featuring graphite and black olive nuances
