About this winery

Founded in 1849 by Albert Brenot in Savigny-lès-Beaune, Doudet-Naudin is one of the oldest Burgundy wine Maisons. In 1933 it was acquired by the Doudet family, who have developed and expanded the Maison while preserving its fundamental values: respect for traditions and excellence. Christophe Rochet, the current head of Doudet-Naudin, is committed to maintaining the values of this well-respected Maison while restructuring it.

Product notes

A good parsley ham amidst a charcuterie board will make our mouths water. But it's certain that with two or three years of aging, quenelles, a veal stew, or a chicken in cream sauce will guarantee a successful meal.

Production notes

Hand-harvested. In temperature-controlled vats, the grapes are pressed using a pneumatic press. Aged in barrels for 11 months in our cellars.

Tasting notes

The pale golden-yellow color is crystal clear. Floral aromas mingle with grapefruit and citrus notes on a very mineral base. Possessing a good presence on the palate, the tasting is also characterized by fruity notes (quince, apple) well enveloped by fine, vanilla tannins. The overall impression is one of freshness, perfectly complementing a smooth and indulgent style.
