About this winery

Founded in 1849 by Albert Brenot in Savigny-lès-Beaune, Doudet-Naudin is one of the oldest Burgundy wine Maisons. In 1933 it was acquired by the Doudet family, who have developed and expanded the Maison while preserving its fundamental values: respect for traditions and excellence. Christophe Rochet, the current head of Doudet-Naudin, is committed to maintaining the values of this well-respected Maison while restructuring it.

Product notes

Manual harvest selected on sorting table. Temperature control. Pressing in pneumatic press, settling and beginning of fermentation in stainless steel tanks, then immediate descent into the cellar in oak barrels. Aged in 100% oak barrels, 25% of which are new, and the rest in one-year-old barrels for 15 months. The mineral nose is fine and expressive. The fresh and fine mouth is tense on a pure minerality. The wine, delicately woody, has an elegance that confirms its status and personality due to its original terroir.

Tasting notes

Crystal clear pale yellow gold color with very light green reflections. The mineral nose is fine and expressive. The fresh and fine palate is tense with a pure minerality that we could already guess from the nose. The wine, delicately woody, has an elegance that confirms its status and personality due to its original terroir.
