About this winery
Winegrowers from father to son since 1577, the two sons work on the 40ha estate located in Saint Bris Le Vineux. Very well exposed, the vines are located on different stony and sloping clay-limestone slopes mainly in Saint Bris le Vineux, cote d'Auxerre, Chablis. The various works of vineyards as well as the care of the wines are carried out in family. The SORIN-DEFRANCE estate only markets its production.

Production notes
Winegrowers from father to son since 1577, the two sons work on the estate located in Saint Bris Le Vineux. Pinot Noir is a grape variety with very complex aromas. It appreciates well-drained limestone hillsides and cool climates, where paradoxically fungal pressure is high. It has a natural tendency to produce wines with little color while at the same time it is the richest grape variety in polyphenols (cardio-protective molecule). It is a grape that ripens early and will give better results if grown at lower yields.
Tasting notes
