Product notes

One-month vatting and malolactic fermentation in barrels. Made mainly from Merlot with a touch of Cabernet Franc, this wine comes from vines on gravelly soils typical of Pomerol. Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled vats and aging takes place in French barrels for approximately 18 months to develop complexity and roundness.

Production notes

Made mostly from Merlot with a touch of Cabernet Franc, this wine comes from gravel soils in Pomerol. Fermented in temperature-controlled tanks and aged in French oak barrels for about 18 months, it gains depth and smoothness.

Tasting notes

Upon tasting, Château Bonalgue expresses suppleness and velvety texture. Young, it is an open and seductive wine; after a few years of aging, it offers more complexity while retaining its silky texture.
