Production notes

Soil type: Clay and limestone, the parcel is located in the highest part of Clos Vougeot. Age of the vineyard: 45 years Grape variety: 100% pinot noir Mode of action: Reasonable and reasoned farming. Yield: 40hl/ha Winemaking: The grapes are harvested by hand in boxes of 15 kilos. Once in the winery, it is sorted and destemmed in 100%. The grapes are put into tanks during 25-30 days. Once fermentation is complete, the wine stay in barrels (100% new) for aging during 18 months there are no fining or filtration.

Tasting notes

Tasting note: Color very intense, violets, raspberry, licorice, pepper aromas … the wine is very rich, opulent, mellow and persistent in mouth. Possibility of guard very large. You can drink this wine with roast veal or braised lamb. Must tender meat, for this wine can express. Temperature of service: 15-16°C
