About this winery

One is not born into the Auvigue family without having a heart that beats for the terroirs of Pouilly-Fuissé. For a very long time, the footsteps of Sylvain Brenas-Auvigue, great-grandson of the founder of the eponymous house, have crisscrossed the vineyards surrounding the villages of Pouilly and Fuissé. Product notes

Villages of Davayé, Leynes and Chasselas Soil: Cretaceous sedimentary rock, clay-limestone type.

Production notes

Vinified from purchased grapes, the bunches are pneumatically pressed, the juice is statically settled for 24 hours, and the clear juice is then transferred to stainless steel tanks for alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. Aged on fine lees until bottling.

Tasting notes

Typically representative of its appellation, this Saint-Véran expresses notes of citrus fruit and white peach. The fresh and round on the palate. Serve at 12°C with grilled fish, scallops, etc.....
