About this winery

One is not born into the Auvigue family without having a heart that beats for the terroirs of Pouilly-Fuissé. Production notes

The Château de la Terrière has stood since the 16th century in Cercié in the heart of the Beaujolais region. It is one of the oldest estates in the region. The vines, which cover a total area of 28 hectares, are on average 50 years old and extend southwards, halfway up the slope, on a granite hill. Fréderic Maignet's objective is to give the wine time to fully express itself and reflect the complexity of the terroir. Traditional vinification in whole bunches. Maceration for about 15 days. Aged for 9 months in cement tanks.

Tasting notes

The nose is very aromatic with aromas of spring fruits of strawberry and raspberry. The mouth is round, with finesse and a mineral finish.
