Product notes

The emblem of the Galuval estate, the rooster (from the Latin Gallus), flutters in the gusts of wind. The benefits of the Mistral wind ensure the prosperity of our region's vineyards. This wind naturally ventilates and cleanses the grapes, then blows away the clouds for perfect ripeness. Le Coq Volant Rosé is inspired by the Mistral and pays homage to it with its delicate, floral profile.

Production notes

We stir the lees before racking and aging on fine lees. This is followed by a very short aging period on fine lees in stainless steel tanks for 3 months.

Tasting notes

The combination of Grenache Noir and Mourvèdre grape varieties gives this wine great finesse. The rose petal color reveals magnificent golden highlights. The nose develops intense aromas of white flowers (elderflower). The palate is elegant and airy, with a beautiful liveliness that reveals thiol aromas and slight acidic notes. An unexpectedly delicate signature for the region.
