Product notes
It will pair wonderfully with roast pigeon with grapes, grilled eggplant, or Bleu du Haut-Jura cheese. 91 points, James Suckling.
Production notes
The grapes are sorted and placed in concrete vats for a traditional three-week fermentation. During maceration, the grapes undergo extraction processes (pumping over and punching down). The grapes are then pressed. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for eight to ten months in concrete vats.
Tasting notes
A sumptuous and clear purple color. A complex nose with aromas of black fruit. A structured, balanced, powerful, and very tannic wine.
