Product notes

The Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh AOC is located in the Pyrenean foothills and only produces white wines. It is situated 40 km from Pau, in the same AOC area as the red wines of Madiran. The proximity of the temperamental Adour River creates a unique microclimate. It is an area of high rainfall and local winds influenced by the Pyrenees and the Atlantic Ocean.

Production notes

Skin maceration is carried out in pneumatic presses to facilitate the extraction of the aromas. 70% of the alcoholic fermentation is carried out in stainless steel vats and 30% in barrels with a stirring of the fine and gross lees (bâtonnage). 6 months of ageing on the lees endow the wine with fat, aromatic complexity and excellent length.

Tasting notes

Complex, elegant, subtly lemony nose with a hint of minerality and notes of white-fleshed fruit. The palate reveals an enveloping balance and a lovely lively acidity. Best served between 8-10°C.
