Product notes

Perfect accompaniment for hare pâté, beef casserole, brie with truffles. 92-94 Robert Parker.

Production notes

Hand harvested grapes are rigorously sorted and placed in concrete tanks for traditional vinification (pumping over and punching down) under controlled temperature conditions. After a maceration period on skins of up to 3 weeks, one part of the blend goes into new and 1-year-old oak barrels for 12 months, whilst the other part is matured in tank

Tasting notes

Grapes from a plot scattered around the village of Chateauneuf. Very clear, dark red. Elegant nose of fresh fruit, spices and vanilla. Rich with fruit, spice, vanilla and tannin. An elegant and mellow wine reflecting perfectly the complex terroir of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
