About this winery

The estate is made up of the vineyard, the cellar and the "estate sale" store, which also offers wine tours for groups. A reasoned fight of our wines of Charentes. This is why the elaboration of Vignoble Vincent wines respects a very precise specification respecting the terroir and the vine by using as few phytosanitary products as possible. Product notes

Rich yet elegant with harmonious structure, this Bordeaux Supérieur offers great value and will age gracefully over 5–8 years, while already delivering pleasure in its youth

Production notes

The Héritage Rouge is crafted from a blend of roughly 80 % Merlot and 20 % Cabernet‑Sauvignon grown on clay‑siliceous soils over limestone. Grapes are hand‑harvested, fully destemmed, cold macerated prior to fermentation at controlled temperatures around 28–30 °C for over 20 days. The wine is then aged 12 months in oak barrels (33 % new) on fine lees before final blending

Tasting notes

It pours a deep cherry-red with violet hues and offers a refined bouquet of ripe red fruits, black cherry, blackberry, cedar, vanilla and fine spice. The palate is velvety on entry, generously textured with silky tannins, finishing long with mineral-tinged balance
