THERE WAS A MADNESS... First of all, you had to be crazy to buy a property in 2003 in Bordeaux: everyone was talking about the crisis - and still does - about the lack of sales, the drop in prices... It's true, that's exactly what's happening, but with my ten years of experience in the wine trade, I've noticed that good wines always sell, at a lower price of course, but they do sell. So I set out to do just that, but without too much pretension, with the desire to make a good wine that is pleasant and accessible, a little tired of all these very well made wines that are so expensive to make and, in the end, often standardized in their quality. BEL ENFIN ! In 2003, after a lot of research and visits, my wife and I came across this property and from that moment on, it was this one and not another one because everything corresponded to the criteria (often silly) that we had set for our acquisition but with a huge plus... The indefinable, the sum of a thousand tiny details that make the place ideal, to which we add the Dordogne that "flows beautifully" before our eyes, offering us at every hour a new light and a new brightness, a noble river that deserves the name of River (forgive us for this drift, but we love it!)
