About this winery
Hervé Joyaux Fabre, a true visionary, bought old Malbec vines planted in 1908 and made Fabre Montmayou the first "bodega-boutique" in Argentina. Once the Mendoza winery was built, Hervé decided to buy vines and a winery in Rio Negro, Patagonia. The cool climate of this southern region, combined with a unique terroir, allows him to create great wines, in a different style from those produced in Mendoza.
