Production notes
This wine is made with grapes from vines over 25 years old and from the highest areas of Paniza, in the county of Cariñena. After crushing and de-stemming, fermentation begins and continues for 15 days at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks. After devatting, malolactic fermentation follows and the wine is aged in barrels for 6 months.
Tasting notes
The wine is rather dark, ripe and confusing. With its captivating aromas of mocha, graphite and blackberry, it has an attractive bouquet that is distinct from other wines of the region. Medium to full-bodied, with fine-grained tannins and good vibrancy and depth. Quite impressive and a very good value.
