About this winery
In 1992, our legacy became rooted in pioneering Bordeaux blends in Washington State. Since then, we have been perfecting artisanal Bordeaux and Rhone-inspired wines that showcase the purity of fruit that defines Washington State terroir, creating “Grand Cru” wines from some of the oldest vines in the state.

Boasting excellent value, D2 artfully blends juicy fruit, structure, and precision—an elegant Washington terroir wine that drinks beautifully now and will cellar for 10–15 years .
Production notes
D2 is a classic Bordeaux-style blend from Columbia Valley, led by approximately 56–61 % Merlot, supported by Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc. After a 24–36 hour cold soak, fermentation lasts 12–14 days on skins. The wine is then aged 18–20 months in French oak barrels, with around 55–68 % new oak, refining its structural elegance
Tasting notes
With a deep garnet color, it offers aromas of cassis, black cherry, green peppercorn, and cocoa, underscored by refined oak spice. On the palate the wine is plush and velvety, framed by fine tannins and bright acidity, with graphite, tobacco leaf, espresso, and black olive notes leading into a long, saline finish .
