Product notes

This Lalande‑de‑Pomerol stands out for its approachable elegance and vibrant fruit character. Lovely with grilled meats, duck breast, or mushroom-based dishes, it strikes a balance between depth and immediacy. A refined yet welcoming wine, ideal for everyday enjoyment

Production notes

Château Les Vieux Ormes is from Lalande‑de‑Pomerol, planted on a clay‑gravel blend where Merlot leads the blend alongside Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Hand-harvested and sorted, the grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks to preserve fruit clarity. Moderate oak aging follows to bring subtle complexity while keeping the natural character intact

Tasting notes

It pours a deep garnet with violet highlights. The nose offers ripe black fruits such as blackcurrant and black cherry, layered with smoky and licorice notes and a delicate floral hint . On the palate, it is smooth and velvety with well-integrated tannins and a lively, fruit-driven finish that echoes the dark berry flavors
