Production notes

Eighteen thousand years ago, a series of glacial outbursts from Montana and Idaho tore through eastern Washington, leaving behind loess (loose sedimentary rock formed by the accumulation of silt from wind erosion) and coarse debris from the floods. Today, it is our vines that benefit from the qualities of this soil, but also from this desert climate with a strong day/night thermal amplitude, which favors the conservation of organic acids within the grapes, and thus, in the wines. The precipitations of less than 200 ml per year, cause harvests generally smaller, but where the concentration of grapes but where the concentration of the grapes is higher. Traditional vinification with temperature control. 10 months of ageing under wood, 60% in French oak barrels and 40% in American oak.
