Product notes
Wine with a light yellow-green color. The nose is fine with mineral and floral notes. In addition, there are scents of Granny Smith apples. Discover this dry white wine with a great freshness. In retro olfaction, it evokes flavors of beeswax and jasmine. It offers a supple mouthfeel that culminates in a lingering finish.
Production notes
This typical Loire Valley castle was built under Louis XIII, rebuilt in the 18th century, then redesigned in the 19th century under Charles X. The Château du Coing is located in the commune of Saint Fiacre sur Maine, the most wine-producing commune in France. Its terroir is unique, its vines are planted at the confluence of two rivers: the Sèvre and the Maine on a south-facing slope. The wine is vinified on lees. The lees is the result of a natural sedimentation of the solid elements of the wine during the winter. After the alcoholic fermentation, the wine rests on its lees all winter until the bottling at the end of March, when it is never racked.
