About this winery

The southern vineyards of Cellier des Dauphins stretch from the southeast of the Rhone Valley to the foot of Mont Ventoux. On these sun-drenched terroirs, cradled by the Mistral wind, are cultivated the king grape varieties of the Côtes du Rhône such as Syrah, Grenache, Viognier and many others typical of the region. Product notes

Vineyard management and wine making respectful of the organic specifications. No added sulfur. This choice aims to find the natural expression of the soil to highlight the grape varieties of the southern Côtes du Rhône. The robe is a dark red. The nose presents fragrances of ripe fruits. The mouth is based on fruit and spices. The tannins are supple and melted.

Location : North Vaucluse. Terroir : The soils are clay and limestone. Grape varieties : 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah. Vinification : Vineyard management and wine elaboration respecting the organic specifications. No sulfur is added from the reception of the grapes to the bottling. This choice aims to find the natural expression of the terroir to highlight the grape varieties of the southern Côtes du Rhône.

Ayant sans doute perfectionné leur méthode, le millésime 2021 m'a paru plus achevé que le millésime 2019 que j'avais auparavant dégusté.
 
Arborant une robe rubis soutenu dû à l'absence de sulfites ajoutés, ce vin propage principalement des arômes de fruits rouges et noirs (framboise, myrtille), émaillés de notes de fines herbes et de poivre blanc. La bouche suit, résolument axée sur le fruit, tout en livrant une structure passablement droite et où la masse tannique démontre une certaine souplesse. Pour un plaisir maximum, passez ce vin en carafe après l'avoir suffisamment rafraîchi.
 
Si la teneur en alcool est légèrement élevée, celle du sucre résiduel est exemplaire.
 
Créez des combinaisons gagnantes avec ce vin avec des charcuteries, la plupart des viandes rouges et blanches grillées ou rôties, ainsi qu'avec les fromages pas trop relevés.
